Dear Connect & Beyond Community
As we transition into spring, this is often when people begin thinking about doing more — walking longer, gardening, traveling, and getting back to activities they love.
But doing more only feels good when your body is ready for it.
At Connect & Beyond, our work is always two-fold:
Repair what needs attention. Restore what keeps you moving forward.
That’s how we reimagine healthspan — not just living longer, but living stronger.
Our March Beyond PT schedule is here, and we have a few exciting updates to share.
March Classes & Courses

New Strength 1.0 Series Starts Monday, March 9th
Led by Andrea Lairson, PT, ATC, each course and class focuses on safe, purposeful movement that supports both your body and nervous system.
This foundational strength series is ideal if you:
Are new to strength training
Are returning after an injury or a break
Want to build confidence with safe, guided progression
Have completed PT and are ready for “what’s next”
Strength 1.0 focuses on form, control, and building a base that supports real-life lifting, hiking, traveling, playing with grandkids, and everything in between.
➡ A new Strength 2.0 series will follow in April, offering the next step in progressive strength training.
8 classes each, twice weekly at 10 am on Mondays and Thursdays
Strength 1.0 — Mon, Mar 9 – Thu, Apr 2
Strength 2.0 — Mon, Apr 6 – Thu, Apr 30

Ongoing Classes
Our ongoing classes are designed to help you continue building strength, stability, and mobility — long after PT ends.
Tai Chi for Better Balance (Jim Dalton) Fall prevention, reaction time, and lower body strength to improve real-world stability.
Slow Flow Yoga | MELT | MELT Hand & Foot (Jessica Day, Kim Reis, Diane Shiffer) Restore tissue quality, reduce stiffness, and improve mobility — excellent between strength sessions.
Keep Moving with Essentrics (Jan Landis) Gentle, full-body movement to improve range of motion, circulation, and muscle balance.
Onero – Bone Density Strength Training (Andrea Lairson, PT) Research-backed, progressive strength training to improve bone density and reduce fracture risk. Ideal for osteopenia, osteoporosis, or proactive bone health.
Ask a PT
We’re starting a new monthly feature: Ask a PT.
Each month, one of our providers will answer a question we commonly hear in the clinic—or one you submit.
This month’s question: “How do I know if I’m ready to move from physical therapy into a strength class?”
Short answer: Start the conversation with your physical therapist and let them know you’re interested in strength training. Together, you can determine whether you’re ready to transition from focused treatment to functional strengthening — building capacity, not just managing symptoms.
That’s exactly where our Beyond classes come in: structured, guided, and progression-focused so you can continue moving forward with confidence.
Have a question about a new issue, an old flare-up, pelvic health, strength training, or aging well??
Simply submit your question!
If you’ve recently finished PT, are managing an old injury flare-up, or just want guidance on the right class progression — reply to this email. We’re happy to help you choose.
Repair. Restore. Reimagine your healthspan.
