Happy Birthday to Connect!

Four years ago DeeAnn, Sue Ellen and Diane launched our bricks and mortar at 17120 Pilkington. It has been such a fun ride and we have (hopefully) proved that you are never too old to learn new tricks.

Our team has grown since then. Many of you will remember Meghan who helped us develop our administrative tasks before heading off to PT school. Now she is just completing her 2nd year at Columbia! You never know, maybe one day we will be able to entice her back to Connect as a PT. As Meghan departed we added Karen and Kjersten who have teamed up to really drive our front office forward, they have been instrumental in making us a more effective practice.

September of 2014 found us adding Susan Bamberger, PT. Susan is a Diplomate in the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy tradition, the Mc Kenzie Approach as some call it. Susan is also highly interested in health care policy and the direction health care is moving in our country. Her constant eye on the future has helped us focus our direction as we grow.

We didn’t have enough Susan’s, so in September of 2015 we rounded out our group with Susan Weedall, PT. As a Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist, Susan brings a new specialty to our group. Visit our website to see the type of diagnosis she works with in this specific practice area.

March 1st of this year we made a transition to a new electronic medical records and billing tool. We are very excited about the new capabilities this provides to us as clinicians, more streamlined documentation and better ability to communicate with our clients.

That bring us to the last news: the website. We have created a new website and we encourage you to take a look! Check out the new pictures, the blog hosted there and all the information you need to make a visit to Connect. We welcome your feedback, let us know how we are doing and what we can do to make your experience with us better.

So, that’s a lot for the first 4 years and we can’t wait to see what is next. Stay tuned and stay Connected!
