Join our 2-Part Strength Training Foundations Series, designed to guide you through safe, effective movement and proper technique. Whether you’re new to strength training or need a refresher, these sessions will help you build confidence, move well, and feel strong, so you’re fully prepared to jump into our ongoing Drop-In Strength Class with ease. Improving and maintaining strength is key to extending your Healthspan and making everyday movement easier.


Course Details:
Strength 1.0 Course:
45-minute classes, 1-month series of 8 classes

Bodyweight, dumbbells, kettlebells

Learn movement patterns of the hip hinge and overhead press

Intro to barbell training: bench press, deadlift, squat
Strength 2.0 Course:
45-minute classes, 1-month series of 8 classes

Expand on what we’ve learned in Strengthening Course 1.0

Improve the stability of the shoulder joint, low back/core

Improve the mobility of the mid-back/thoracic region

Kettlebell exercises, trainer barbell exercises

Solidify technique for benchpress, deadlift, squat, and overhead press

Our Strengthening Instructor
As an athletic trainer, Andrea worked with Division I athletes, supporting their strength and rehabilitation programs during return-to-sport protocols. She completed her master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Miami and has since built a diverse career in hospital-based orthopedic and sports medicine settings. Andrea has treated many clients, from high school and collegiate athletes to active adults. As a physical therapist, she emphasizes proper technique, stabilization and mobility exercises, and the gradual, progressive overload of the musculoskeletal system to promote safe and effective strengthening.
